Sunday Post and Showcase Sunday #18

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog (we modified it to include some more stuff), showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hey guys, this was a really exciting week for us because we got a new co-blogger! MEGAN! She was the same awesome human who helped us design our blog so you know it's super exciting for us to have her on the team. You can go check out her blog here (where she also blogs/reviews).

We also finally figured out the whole blockquote thing so now we can finally use it! YAY!

You can expect to see more of Paulina around now (as you might have noticed, she was rather absent lately :P She said she'd send me a book if she had money so I decided to forgive her :P) since she has sorted her stuff (I don't know how else to put it) out.

Oh and I (Rashika) have vacation this coming up week so that SHOULD give me time to read more :P Unless I am drowning in all the other work I have and have been putting off.

So now the cover reveals of the week (that we found, obviously there were more) not including the one we had on the blog.

I am going to read the first book over the vacations so wish me luck! :D
The Devil's Reprise by Karina Halle

I have the second book and still need to read it, hopefully soon? :D I don't think the cover is as pretty as the first two though :/
Sweet Reckoning by Wendy Higgins

Free to Fall by Lauren Miller

Don't Call Me Baby by Gwendolyn Heasley

The Defiant by Lisa M. Stasse

New Beginnings by Victoria Schwab

Rebel by Amy Tintera

#Scandal by Sarah Ockler

There was also a book trailer that came out this week for The Fiery Heart (which I am sure a lot of you are looking forward to).

Showcase Sunday is a weekly meme hosted by Vicky at Books, Biscuits & Tea. It's an opportunity to share your book haul.

The haul is non-existent this week because Paulina is up to her face in books and I am trying to stop requesting every book I lay my eyes on (even if I get rejected for most of them) because I am in pretty deep too.

  4. Great stack of books! I think I like Sweet Reckoning more than the second cover :) The first one is still the prettiest. Free to fall sounds great! I can't wait to get started in the 'The forsaken series' They have one of the best covers, so unique <3 And I want to read Rebel :D! Enjoy.

  5. The covers aren't actually part of our haul (sadly :P)
    :D
But I agree the covers to the Forsaken series are GORGEOUS!
I've yet to read Parallel so I think I might want to read that first but Free to Fall sounds awesome!
:P Reboot is on my to-read list! :P :P I'll get around to it and then I can read Rebel! :D
    Thanks Mel :)

  6. It's impossible.. it doesn't shrink, it just expands until you feel like you're drowning but.. in a good/bad way. The instincts of a reader are so complicated :P
