The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog (we modified it to include some more stuff), showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Hello everyone. I hope you all had a great week. I feel like I am on repeat, the only thing I have to say is how crazy the week was with things going on and all that jazz. I guess the next couple of months will be stressed for me and nothing can really change that. I haven't gotten as much reading as I would like done which makes me really sad but I am trying to get back on schedule. On a completed unrelated note, the snow is sparkling. It was all glittery. Also, I came up with a Drama Llama song this week, because I was bored. Over at The Social Potato, I discussed Secret by Brigid Kemmerer with Faye.
I haven't gotten as much reading done either, it sucks alien balls but there are just so many essays I'm behind on! :( Work is killing me. But I got my first tattoo this week!!! Ah Thursday was a good day :D Hope you all have a great week and get to read all the lovely books!

*sigh* I haven't got much reading done either. I've had so many assignments to do. :( So far, in 2014 I've only read 2 books!
ReplyDeleteI still need to read Shine Light. Will have to re-read the other two first, though. I have forgotten what happened since I read them so long ago, lol!
Ohh what tattoo did you get! I'm so curious!
ReplyDeleteI have Faking Normal to read as well and it looks very intense and emotional, I can't wait to get to it.
Love that cover for Amity, the red on the roof is so spooky!
A breathe of frost looks interesting! :) I'd love to see a picture of your tattoo if you want to share it!
ReplyDeleteYes...I am loving City of Heavenly Angels cover. Don't tell anyone, but that's going to be my Waiting on Wednesday post this week! :) Happy reading!

I can so relate about work killing you! Hope things lighten up and you get more reading time in!
ReplyDeleteBeware of the tattoo addiction, I got my first one when I was 17 and now I'm in the middle of planning my *cough* 4th. I love the Princess of Thorns cover, didn't even know Stacey Jay had a new one coming out. Hope you can get some reading in! :)
ReplyDeleteHere's
mine
Kirsty @ StudioReads
Looks like some awesome books! Happy Reading! If you'd like, you can stop by my STS Following your blog and would love a follow back please :-)
ReplyDeleteAwh I'm 17 and got one :D I know about the addiction. I'm already wanting another one!! Thanks for stopping by hun :)
ReplyDeleteWork is just so horrible! I really hope I get to read soon or I will go crazy!
ReplyDeleteI'll keep it a secret :P The cover is really pretty isn't it!
ReplyDeleteI will share it soon :) There's a picture of it on my twitter (@tangledinpages) 1 minute after it was done if you want to check it out :D
ReplyDeleteGo check out my twitter! It's on there :DDD
ReplyDeleteOoo I love the sound of Faking Normal. Checking it out right now.
That sucks so much :( I feel for you! I hate having to do work instead of reading.
ReplyDeleteHaha oh dear! You will have to hurry up with assignments then :P
hoping to do my first tattoo this year - at the grand old age of 45 :) And take some time out for reading - it will help you relax.
ReplyDeleteNice haul!! I hope you enjoy your pretty books
ReplyDeleteCheck our STS of this week.
Leydy @ OUaT & Redcarpetendings
great book haul this week. I haven't been able to read as much as I would like for the last few months or so, life gets busy sometimes. But, keep on reading, looks like you have some great reads there. Enjoy! My Sunday Post is over
ReplyDelete@Got Fiction Blog
I have only one question...where is the pic of your tattoo?? *taps foot impatiently* ;) Have agreat week!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen 4 of these covers yet, so thanks for the post! It's so weird that the third Jasper Dent book looks kind of different from the first two, isn't it? I wonder if the others are going through a redesign as well. *mutters grumpily*
ReplyDeleteKiss of Deception is pretty, too--I like the non-typical covers. And Amity looks scaaaary. :D
I'm glad you grabbed the Burn Bright freebies as well!
Wendy @ The Midnight Garden
It takes courage to get tattoos.. :P Well Paulina doesn't fear anything but I absolutely HATE needles.. so while I do want to get one... I'll probably end up not getting one because of my fear.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is that with college apps and everything.. the paranoia is setting in and event thought I always take time out for reading, it's not nearly enough. :/
Happy Reading! :)
ReplyDeleteMe toooo... there is one in particular I am worried about.. Hopefully it won't disappoint.
ReplyDeleteIt IS! But my copy of the first book (which I STILL have to pick up) has the UK cover :/ so it won't be that big of an issue for me. I am used to mismatched covers even if they break my heart a little. I despise redesigns though. *shudders* They're almost ALWAYS worse than the originals and it just bothers me .-.
ReplyDeleteI am really excited about Kiss of Deception because it's been a while since I've read anything by Pearson and the Jenna Fox series is really close to my heart so I really do want to see what else she has in store. :) The cover for Amity IS scarryyy.. and I likesss.
I read the first book in the series and adored it and there is never a better incentive than freebies to carry on with a series :P

ReplyDeleteI pulled it off her twitter account :P
You too!! :)
Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading! :)
Do it! My mom got one done with me and she is absolutely terrified of needles and pain. She's 40 and she loves her little tattoo :D
