Pretty Little Liars (TV show)

I love this whole show! It’s just so good! Ah.
But there are so so many things that annoy me! So this review will be about the stuff that annoy me in the show and the next one I do will be about stuff that I love ;)

1-      I love the stuff that all the girls wear especially Aria she has a great sense of fashion but why do they always have to wear such great outfits? I want to see something that could be worn during a normal day. They always look like they are off to a party or something when all they do is, sit at home or just go to each other’s house. Maybe it’s just me as I only dress as if I’m on the red carpet or if I’ve been homeless for a few years and throw whatever I find on.

2-      How is the police so stupid?! The girls are always there. Something always happens with one of them and their families. If I found evidence that one of the girls was at the scene of a murder or she dug up her bestfriends grave (even if she doesn’t remember anything or whatever) I would be suspicious. It’s just stupid that the police and the detectives that are apparently always on “the case” don’t even know about some of the really obvious stuff.

3-      How the hell does “A” and the girl in the red coat run around so quietly without anyone ever noticing them? I trip over everything and make a riot when I walk trying my hardest to be quiet. Like how… Teach me masters.

4-      I have done drama and I know all the dramatic techniques and how there all great… And the freeze frame was my favourite and blah blah blah. But am I the only one that gets annoyed when something happens even if it’s little they turn their heads and look away. It’s so annoying!

Anwayyyy I love love love the show! I know I mentioned some stuff that annoy me but the show is so good! It’s original and so fun. The whole mystery whether or not Alison is alive or not is just great- I always guess who A can be and I really want to find out now!

This is my favorite scene!!

Ahh love this!

Friends (The TV Show)

I didn't get a lot of reading done this summer because of many reasons but I did get something else done. I watched all 10 seasons of Friends.

I had only watched a handful of episodes from each of the seasons and so until I saw the show, from the beginning to the end, I couldn't appreciate the awesomeness of it.

I found this short trailer on youtube, so I decided to share it (I would have shared bloopers but bloopers tend to be long).

Moving on. This show was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Seeing the journey of these 6 individuals over a span of ten years, there are the little things you learn from their experiences. The most important being, always cherish your friends.

I also happen to be a huge How I Met Your Mother fan and it was weird how similar the two turned out to be. I am not sure how I feel about that but I do believe that the humor in Friends was a whole lot better and overall I think I do prefer Friends to HIMYM.

One of the things both the shows have in common is that the later seasons start losing their magic. They were funny but some of the things just seemed forced.

(If you have not watched the show, it would be advisable to stop reading right about now and watch the show instead and then come back)

Like when Joey fell in love with Rachel. I did not care for that at all because I love Joey and I knew it would never work out between the two. I didn't want to Joey's heart getting broken. On top of that it just seemed like unnecessary drama. What purpose did Joey's falling in love with Rachel serve other then stirring the pot and creating more conflict? Plus it messed with my idea of Joey's character. He was always the guy who didn't fall in love, was never serious about anyone. But it was clear he loved his friends dearly. I didn't want him to change, I wanted him to be the lovable teddy bear he was. Also after being shot down.. things went back to normal rather quickly and nothing remarkable happened between the two until the end of Season 9. This just goes on to show how there wasn't much point to Joey falling in love with Rachel.

One of the other things that bothered me a lot was the last episode, it just didn't work for me. I guess part of that was because it's hard to let go but some things just didn't add up. For starters the Ross and Rachel thing came out of nowhere. I mean it's understood they are going to end up together but I think there should have been some build up to it during Season 10. Then the other thing (which made me sad more than anything else) was the fact that Chandler and Monica were moving away. It just seemed like everyone would move on with their lives and they wouldn't have fun times anymore like they had before.

It's just so hard to let go of the show, I think its going to take time before I can finally let go but until then... I have the bloopers.
