The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog (we modified it to include some more stuff), showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
I will be a survivor. I have mock exams next week and THIS IS THE EYE OF THE TIGER ITS THE THRILL OF THE NIGHT (If you cannot already tell, I've lost it). These aren't even my finals, which take place in May, they're just exams that count in our final grade and are supposed to give us a 'taste' of what the final exams actually look like (but don't we all know they look like hell?). Yeah so I am going to be gone for this upcoming week and will reply to all comments when I get back but after that I will slowly start disappearing. Anyway, this week over at The Social Potato, I reviewed Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira.

I promise next week my review of The Geography of You and Me will be up! I hope you all have a fantastic week!

Cover of the Week
asdjlnaksda IT WAS REVEALED THIS WEEK. I've read the first two books in Angelini's Starcrossed series and I adored them (and will get around to reading the 3rd one). When I heard that the author had been signed for a new series I was so excited and now the cover reveal. I'll admit that some of the font type could have been better but it's still so PRETTEH.

Leydy from OUAT & RCE
I requested Amity too and am keeping my fingers crossed I can get it! It looks soooooo good! Happy Reading! Here's my STS if you'd like to stop by.....
ReplyDeleteI also got Tabula Rasa, and I really hope it's good! I think I'll wait for your review on OMaM, before deciding whether or not to read it. The summary makes it sounds as if there's a love triangle, and if there's one thing I can't stand it's that. x)
ReplyDeleteI've never read Kate Karyus Quinn, but I've heard good things, so I look forward to your review. AND I really liked the first two books in Angelini's first series too (but I haven't read the last one either), and that new cover gets ALL the pretty points. I LOVE it! And Paulina--congratulations of your very first literary purchase! Sadly, I have no idea what mine was. I do remember my first cd, but I'm not telling you what it was b/c it will date me, and I'm old, lol.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry about your cat, that is sad!
ReplyDeleteI received Amity too, excited to start it!
Missie @ A Flurry of Ponderings

ReplyDeleteDon't You Forget About Me looks kinda trippy and Trial By Fire has an awesome cover.
I've never heard of mock exams, but...You can do it, Rashika! *gets out lucky pompoms and gives them a shake then gets out vacuum to suck up pieces that fell off*
ReplyDeleteStill giving {{{hugs}}} and {{{posivibes}}} for your kitty. Um, are you going to drink *and* get a tattoo on the same day? Because sometimes that doesn't turn out so swell. o.O lol
Have a great week!
I'm interested to see what you think of Amity, Rashika. I love horror. And gosh, isn't final exams enough?! They have to torture you with mock ones, as well?! Good luck! :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter got a mock Statistics exam on Tuesday so she's been in her books all weekend. Keeping all fingers / toes etc crossed. Great book haul though :) Amity would be for me as well.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and Happy Reading!
