Sunday Post #29

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog (we modified it to include some more stuff), showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hello everyone. This week has been crazy. I do not know how to go back to school after 3 weeks of doing absolutely nothing. Juggling everything is becoming harder but I am not ready to give up what I love most so I continue to march on. It snowed here.. which of course isn't going to make my life easier because the temperatures have finally hit that point where the snow won't melt and leave me alone. Enough of my whining though. Procrastinating actually did work for me for the first time.. I changed the layout of the blog a little and am more than proud. I cannot stop staring... even if it's just minor changes. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately.. for the future. About taking the big jump to self hosting maybe. Anyways, this week, over at The Social Potato, I did a series of mini reviews for The Ruby Red Trilogy by Kerstin Gier

Hey it's Paulina, everything is flooded in the UK which confuses me because I must have been asleep while it rained :/ I don't remember heavy rain at all... Anyway. Getting back into my busy life is a struggle especially that I'm trying to be more social as well -.- I hope you guys had a great week so far!

  1. Haha, I feel the same way. I've had 4 weeks off and I really don't want to go back to Uni tomorrow. :( The hols have been amazing, despite having to do assignments.

    Dark Days sounds interesting!

  2. 4 weeks sounds like such a wonderfully long time. Now that I am back it feels like vacations ended ages ago rather than... like 6 days ago :P We didn't have assignments this time around(well coming up deadlines are a whole other story :P) only college applications.

I am really excited for Dark Days! :D The cover is rather gorgeous too!

  3. It's been a slow week for me, I hardly did anything on the blog this week. Did get some new books though, now just need to read 'em. The Hunt looks good, that's a nice cover. Hybrids? On the run? Sounds like fun!

  4. Ugh. No sleeping in is the worst. I cannot seem to get up in the morning anymore but things are getting back on schedule and I guess it'll all work out even if it means no more sleep.

  5. I get nice books occasionally and stare at them. I should read them too :P

I heard that the first book was alright. I had it on my to-read list but then.. other books happened :P.

  6. I haven't read any Shiloh Walker yet, but I keep meaning to! She seems really cool when I've come across her on Twitter.

I'm still horribly sick, so I've mostly read romance and chick lit the past few days. Nothing else is holding my attention, sadly.

  7. She was also one of the authors that backed us up when the whole goodreads debacle went down. :)

I am so sorry Wendy :( it's been a while hasn't it? Hopefully you'll get well soon :)
