Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
Today's topic: Top Ten Most Unique Books I've Read (maybe the MC was really different, maybe it was the way it was written, a very unique spin on a genre or topic, etc.)
1- The Fault In Our Stars by John Green- This is for me still a unique book. It's the first book by John Green I've read and I feel in love with his writing.
2- Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead- There are tons and tons of vampire books out there but for me this is one of the most original story lines. There are two types of vampires the Moroi and the Strigoi and then there are the half vampire half human Dhampirs.
3-Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins- For me this book is unique with the way it was written. Stephanie has a way with words that makes you melt from the very start of the book.
4- Eve and Adam by Micheal Grant- This story is super duper unique. Not only does it involve some techy science but also a machine that lets you create the perfect human!
5- The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins- This is a no brainer for me. This book hit the jackpot by having a unique plot, written in a fantastic way. It's also the first dystopian book that I was hooked on and loved!
6- Cinder by Marissa Meyer- Another dystopian book that had a unique spin on a well known fairy tale from when I was little.
7- The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff- This story is told in a male POV which we don't get a lot in Young Adult books so it deserves a place up here.
8- Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkein- I think it's pretty obvious why it's here.
9- This is Not a Book by Keri Smith- It's a book but it's not a book... But I still love this and the Wreck this Journal by Keri and they are very unique in the way they were made.
10- The Prestige by Christopher Priest- I read this years and years ago but the movie is still one of my favourite classics along with this book because of he plot twist.
So we haven't done this Top Ten Tuesdays in a while and I think this is my very first one but it was a lot of fun!
There are quite a few books on your list I haven't read, so I guess I need to check them out!
