Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves #40

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog (we modified it to include some more stuff), showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

So this was basically my last week before the upcoming hiatus and wow, I am dead tired. I got back some of the grades from my mocks and they definitely went better than expected. Physics was bleh and Math was bleh but everything else, WOOT. I've already started revising like a good kid so yay. Also I received my first review copy from a publisher (to be reviewed on The Social Potato and will thus not be a part of Tangled in Pages book haul) this week so double yay.

So this week has been busy with only one day free! I was actually thinking of getting another part time job but that would leave me about 5 hours a week for reading! Never going to happen. But I do like money. I hope you guys have had a fantastic week and got lots of reading done

Rashika's Haul
Bought
I've already read this one but since I borrowed it, I am glad to finally own it as well.
One of my favorite books from when I was younger and I am so so glad to own a copy, a re-read is definitely in the future.

It would have probably been wiser if I bought the books in the right order but ah well. You gotta start somewhere?
Won
I also won an ARC for this one a while ago and it came in the mail on Friday so YAY!

Paulina's Haul
From lovely charity shops.
The Book Thief
For those of you who don't live in the UK and don't know what a charity shop is it's basically given away in the title. It's second hand/brand new donated stuff that's sold and then the money goes to different charities! It's great and the books are cheap :D
 Library
Scarlet (The Lunar Chronicles, #2)

  2. Rashika, I'm so glad to see The Westing Game on your haul! That was also one of my favorite books when I was younger. I may have to get a copy of it myself and do a reread.

Paulina, The Book Thief is one of my all time favorite books! That's so cool that you got a copy at a charity shop (I love the idea of a shop like that). Scarlet's a pretty good book, and so is The Indigo Spell. :)

I hope you two enjoy your new books!
