Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. When I got the book I thought to myself. It can't be so bad. It can't ruin my life. It can't take over everything. It can't hurt my soul and everything inside me.
GUESS WHO WAS WRONG!!!!!!!

Hi. I'm Paulina and this book ruined me and I cannot live without this book because even though my soul has crushed and died I want to marry this little thing and forever hold it because I love it so much.

Me at the start of the book

Couple of pages in

Going so crazy I can't help myself.

Why. Who. Why would this book hurt me so much

Someone hold me.

Right. Literally. This. Is. What. Happens.

And I'm still like.

Just thinking of the book right now.

Guess who is now emotionally unstable because of something that happened in a book.

So all in all. This book is amazing. Everyone go read it, the movie is coming out soon just go and read the book and join me being this broken shell.

I know exactly what you mean. I cried so so much with this one too. Even though I always find Green's dialogues to be just a tiny bit pretentious, this one and Looking for Alaska totally worked for me.

  2. hahaha loved this review. I have yet to read this one because reading about Cancer scares me so much. I mean who hasn't had the big C touch their lives in some way, Just hits so close to home. I will read this eventually though, and have a large box of tissues on hand when I do!

  6. You are right his charters are too unconventional and they sometimes pass as pretentious, but the books are always funny (no mater how serious the theme)

  7. I know its juvenile but i dont like reading books that dont end on a
happy note. Iv started both Alaska and this one and never finished them! (im a little ashamed given that everybody loves this one!)

  8. Gahhh so sorry I haven't visited in so long!! Haven't had time much for blogging/visiting other blogs recently :'(

So glad you've finally read this book!!! This post describes all my feels. I basically bawled for days and days I'm surprised I didn't shrivel up into some sort of human grape because there was basically no water left in me to cry out. This is just such a brilliant story, everyone needs to read it!!!!!

Hope you guys are well :))

I've read the book ages ago but I didn't have the strength to think about the book enough to review it so I thought this was a better idea :D

  10. Should be ashamed. I usually like sad endings ( I'm weird ) but happy endings are just so boring!
