Top Ten Tuesday #2

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

"This week we're talking about the books on you Fall 2013 TBR list, it can be either books you're planning to read or Fall releases you're excited about! "

So 10 books, that's a hard one but before we go anywhere I just wanna say that I according to me Fall lasts up till the beginning of November.

Conclusions to Series'

Emerald Green by Kerstin Gier: I've been dying for this book. I discovered the series last year and fell madly in love.

Allegiant by Veronica Roth: I am not as excited for this book as I was last year when I read the sequel but I do still want to know what happens.

Horde by Ann Agguire: I hate zombies.. despise them yet for some reason this series appeals to me. I cannot wait for Horde, I wanna know what happens with Deuce and Fade (like half of the fandom).

Champion by Marie Lu: It took me a long time to gather the courage to read the sequel because I had heard the ending was awful and it was, it was terrifying and this book better give me the happy ending I am dying for.

Sequels

The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater: This book came out today and my copy should be getting here any day (well tomorrow or the day after :P). I love Maggie and well this sequel better be awesome... I am not in the mood to be disappointed.

Shadowlark by Meagan Spooner: The first book ended on a rather interesting note and I am excited to see where the author goes with this.

Fractured by Sarah Fine: Umm I am just excited for some more of Malachi ;) :D And I miss Lela.

The Series Starters

Unchained by J.Lynn: I want to read this one out of pure curiosity, I am no longer a huge fan of Jennifer but I her books are still like brain candy.

Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson: I've heard great things about Brandon's Mistborn series and plan on reading them someday but for now, I am really looking forward to this book.

Standalone

Somehow I found a standalone amidst all the series. I miss standalones :/

(Never) Again by Theresa Paolo: I feel like this is going to be a breakthrough for me in NA. It sounds like a second chance romance and I love those. So I am really excited to read this book.

  2. When I read the book I loved it but now I am starting to think things over about it. But it wasn't really a disappointment, I guess I am starting to realize it isn't the best thing ever, there are better books out there.

  11. Fun list! I really liked The Dream Thieves, but it's definitely way darker than the first book. Hopefully you won't feel disappointed. :)

Alliegant is on my list today, too! Happy TTT.
